TO OUR VALUED TOURISTS/VISITORS FOR BANAUE             We would like to thank you for including our town to your list of destinations. The Banaue Tourism Office respectfully would like to inform all foreign and local tourists that the Banaue Tourism Center managed by the Local Government is now on its operations to cater to the needs of our valued tourists/visitors. Building a number of efforts that have been initiated by the Local Government to address issues and concerns relative to the tourism activities and services system, we encourage all tourists/visitors to register at the Municipal Tourism Center upon arrival and take advantage of its services. An Environmental Fee of Twenty Pesos(Php20.00) per person will be collected. It is intended for Eco-tourism related projects especially the preservation of the Rice Terraces-(Sec. 9 of Municipal Ordinance No. 039 Series of 2005).           Since your safety is our concern, we also advise you to visit the Tourism Center to avail of the services of our DOT accredited and licensed local tour guides, legitimate transport group and accommodation establishments for your convenience. MABUHAY! TOFARM through the Banaue Rice Terraces Restoration Project is calling for submission of orchestra music inspired by BANAUE – its people, traditions, landscapes, unique rituals and dances. The selected composers are required to attend/participate as Composer-Fellows in the BANAUE MUSIC COMPOSITION IMMERSION PROGRAM. OBJECTIVE: To write and submit Banaue-inspired symphonic works for concerts and possible inclusion in future projects of TOFARM and Banaue Rice Terraces Restoration Project. ‚Äč The original work must be written and intended for the 2018 Banaue International Music Composition Competition.
